This is one of the best color photos of my early airplane collection.
They are sitting in the driveway of my parent's home. Clockwise from
left, P-40, Flite Streak, CG Lil' Wizard, twin Combat Kittens, Cox
Miss America P-51, Lil' Jumpin' Bean. In the center is a non-flying
solid wood model of a WWI Spad. At the bottom is a Cox .049-powered
VW. The VW wasn't mine, I can't recall who owned it, but I just had
it to try and get the motor to start. The owner never could make the
thing run. |
